Hollister resident
Dorothy Wilson died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003 at Hazel Hawkins Hospital. She was 85.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Seminole, Okla. and came to Hollister from Hawaiian Gardens, Calif. in 1980. She was a member of the Baptist Church and the American Association of Retired Persons.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Cathy and Don Holmes of San Juan Bautista, Martha Jo and Jack Beauregard of Las Vegas, Nev., Fred Jr. and Mavis Wilson of Lufkin, Texas and James and Barit Wilson of Friday Harbor, Wash.; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, in 1996; and her son, Tony, in 1986.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Jan. 10 at 1 p.m. at the IOOF Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Ball of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate.

Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials are preferred to the Hazel Hawkins Hospital Foundation to benefit the new nursing home.
