Hollister resident
Thomas Robert Howard died unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 12 at Hazel Hawkins Hospital. He was 33.

Mr. Howard was born in LaMesa and had lived in Hollister for five years. He worked as a draftsman for a civil engineering company for nearly 15 years and played for the Hollister FreeWheelers power-chair soccer team.

He is survived by his wife, Stacie Howard of Hollister; his children, Kirstie Renee Howard, Michelle Carin Howard and Thomas Robert Howard Jr., all of Hollister; his parents, Robert and Carin Howard of Fallbrook; his grandmother, Mary Howard of Spring Grove; his sister, Kristina Scolini of Concord; and an aunt and an uncle.

Friends are invited to a celebration of Mr. Howard’s life Sunday, Jan. 19 from 1-5 p.m. at the family home, 2170 Beachwood Ct. in Hollister.

Arrangements for cremation are through Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory.

Memorials are preferred to the Howard children’s college fund in care of the funeral home.
