Long-time Hollister resident
Long-time Hollister resident Hermenegilda H. Arreola died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003 at Emmanuel Medical Center in Turlock. She was 83.
Mrs. Arreola was born in Guanajuato, Mexico and had lived in Hollister since 1963.
She is survived by her children, Carmen Arreola, Manuel Arreola, Nicolas Arreola and Marin Arreola, all of Hollister, and Donaciana Murillo of Newman; her brother and sisters, Auxilio Herrera, Victoria Herrera, Guadalupe Herrera and Esperanza Herrera, all of Mexico; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marin Arreola, in 1991.
Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited Monday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, proceeding to Sacred Heart Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 1 p.m. Interment and graveside services will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
