Hollister resident
Hollister resident Julia G. Juarez died Sunday, March 30, 2003 at the William and Inez Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility. She was 85.

Mrs. Juarez was born in Matamoros, Coahilla, Mexico and had lived in Hollister for 35 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

She is survived by her children, Fernando J. Ramirez, Carmen Miner Jr. and Lisa Juarez Roldan, all of Hollister, Yolanda Marie Camacho of Gilroy, Richard Ramirez of Morgan Hill and Armando Ramirez, Gumesindo Ramirez and Luisa Saucedo, all of San Jose; her sister, Seferina Flores of San Jose; and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Amadeo Campos Juarez, her brothers, Pablo Guardado and Santiago Guardado, and her sister, Felicitas Roque.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 2 from noon to 9 p.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services will begin Thursday at 9:30 a.m., proceeding to Sacred Heart Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. interment and graveside services will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
