Kathy Guardiola and Richard Ruiz were married Nov. 23 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Kathy is the daughter of Josefa and Jose Guardiola of Hollister and Richard is the son of AnaGloria and Jesse Ruiz of Hollister.
The maid of honor was Jennifer Liversage. The attendants were Teri Escamilla, Elizabeth Tijerina, Siobhan Brannon, Judith DeShazer, Amanda Brummet and Susan Brummet.
The best men were Elio Ruedas and Nick Lopez. The ushers were Eddie Escamilla, Will Tijerina, Daniel DeShazer, Carlo Rios and Doug Liversage.
Kathy is a kindergarten teacher at San Juan School and is a 2001 graduate of California State University, Stanislaus, and a 1997 graduate of San Benito School.
Richard is a service advisor with Hollister Pontiac Buick GMC. He attended Gavilan College and is a 1996 graduate of San Benito High School.
A reception for 240 guests was held at the Hollister Elks Lodge.
