Lifelong Hollister resident Rosemary Gutierrez died Friday, May 16, 2003 at Hazel Hawkins Hospital. She was 49.
Mrs. Gutierrez had worked as a teacher’s aide at Fremont and Calaveras schools. She was a member of the Apostolic Full Gospel Church of Christ and assisted at Mother Bear’s Day Care Center where she was known as “Tia Rose.” In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Peter Gutierrez of Hollister; her sons, Peter Ray Gutierrez of Hayward and Matthew Gutierrez of Hollister; her parents, Nacho and Trini Gonzales of Hollister; her sisters, Ruth Estada, Lisa Gonzales and Monica Gonzales, all of Hollister; and three nephews.
Services will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at The Apostolic Full Gospel Church of Christ, 1515 Santa Ana Road. A reception at the church will follow the services.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Interment and graveside services will follow at the IOOF Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the Apostolic Full Gospel Church of Christ in care of the funeral home.
