Aurora Rivera of Gilroy died Sunday, Aug. 10, at the age of 73.

Rivera was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, and had resided in Gilroy for the last 40 years. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends.

She is survived by sons John Guerrero of Gilroy, Martin and Sara Guerrero of Newman, Art Guerrero of Gilroy and Leo and Cynthia Guerrero of Gilroy. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren

Funeral services were held today beginning with a visitation at 9 a.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy. The funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Gilroy. Burial followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to a gathering following the service at 1402 Mantelli Drive in Gilroy.
