David Dozal Sr. died in San Luis Obispo on Thursday, Sept. 18,
at the age of 48.

David Dozal Sr. died in San Luis Obispo on Thursday, Sept. 18, at the age of 48.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a truck driver by trade.

He is survived by his children and their spouses Sandra and Mike Quiroz of Hollister, Jennifer Dozal of San Jose, David and Nora Dozal of Hollister and Christina Dozal of Hollister; his brothers and sister Ralph Dozal of Salinas, Ruben Dozal of Hollister, Rudy Dozal of Hollister and Norma Dominguez of Anaheim.

Friends can pay their respects today from noon to 9 p.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 10 a.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.

Interment and graveside services will follow the funeral at Calvary Cemetery.
