Navy Airman James G. Conway III recently visited Naples, Italy while assigned to Electronic Attack Squadron 132 on the aircraft carrier USS George Washington.
Conway, a 2000 graduate of San Benito High School, is the son of Victoria Moreno Montoya of Hollister. He joined the Navy in September 2000.
Volunteers from Conway’s ship helped the Sisters of Charity clean a soup kitchen before helping to prepare and serve meals.
Conway is one of more than 10,000 Atlantic Fleet Sailors and Marines aboard the ships of the USS George Washington Carrier Battle Group and the USS Nassau Amphibious Ready Group.
