A Memorial Service is planned for 4:00 P.M., January 4, 2012, at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey Street, Morgan Hill, CA. There will be a reception immediately following at 2139 Darnis Circle, Morgan Hill. Donations are preferred to the American Cancer Society
Georgiana Ruth Shelton passed away, after a six year battle with breast cancer, peacefully at home on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the age of 63.
She was born in Winatchee, WA and came to California in 1965. She has resided in Morgan Hill for the last 28 years and retired from Morgan Hill Precision in 2008.
She enjoyed country and western dancing and loved spending time with friends and family. She also routinely provided comfort and laughter to other cancer patients during her weekly treatments.
She is survived by her loving husband Tim, two children and their spouses; Anthony and Kirsten Villamor of Colorado Springs, CO and Kevin and Georgiana Sousa of Atascadero, CA. She has four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her mother Irene Barton of Spring Hill, Louisiana and two sisters, Frankie and Norma-Jean.
