UPDATE AT 12:28 PM: The Gilroy Police Department has located the missing youth in Gilroy.

The Hollister Police Department would like to thank family members, friends, residents and the Gilroy Police Department who assisted in located the missing youth within the last half-hour in Gilroy.

No further information will be released at this time.

 

The Hollister Police Department is requesting public help with locating missing youth Jade Maria Garza, 16, who went missing from her Hollister home on Saturday, October 28.

Jade was last seen at her residence around 8:36 p.m. She is described as a 5-foot-1 Hispanic female weighing around 110 pounds, with braces and shoulder length or longer hair. She was last seen wearing shorts and an unknown color tank top. It is unknown if she had other clothing with her when she left her residence.

Jade is a student at Gilroy High School and could possibly be in the Gilroy area. Both the Hollister Police Department and Gilroy Police Department are investigating this incident. The agencies are requesting the public call the appropriate police department if Jade is seen in either city.
