Three local women will be honored for their leadership and service at an upcoming Visionary Women’s Luncheon in Hollister.
Ann Marie Sayers, Lucy Rodriguez and Rachel Perez will be recognized at the Aug. 22 luncheon, and annual event hosted by the Latino Coalition of San Benito County. The celebration will take place 11:30am-3pm at the Hollister Elks Lodge, 351 Astro Drive, Hollister.
This year’s slate of honorees will be celebrated for their exceptional leadership, service and commitment—and their lasting impact on the San Benito Community, according to the Latino Coalition.
Keynote speakers scheduled for this year’s luncheon are California State Treasurer Fiona Ma and Honorary Chairwoman Anna Caballero.
“The Visionary Women’s Luncheon is an opportunity to celebrate women whose passion and dedication continue to inspire future generations,” Mickie Solorio Luna, President of the Latino Coalition of San Benito County, said in a statement. “Their contributions have helped shape a stronger, more vibrant and more inclusive community.”
Community members, elected officials, business leaders, nonprofit organizations and supporters are invited to join in recognizing the accomplishments of these remarkable women, says a press release from the Latino Coalition. The event also serves as a fundraiser supporting the Latino Coalition’s educational initiatives and scholarship programs.
