Entered into rest in Hollister at the age of 28. He was born in Hollister and lived here all of his life. He is a graduate of San Benito High School and enjoyed riding his bicycle, fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his father and mother, Aureliano and Eva Hurtado of Hollister, his sisters and brothers and their spouses, Lorena and Kevin Scalmanini of Hollister, Luis and Tammy Hurtado of Oceanside, Gabriela and Steve Vallejo of Hollister, Monica and George Ford of Hollister and Aldo and Jessica Hurtado of Phoenix, AZ and his nephews and nieces, Nick, Matt and Dana Vallejo, Mark Scalmanini, Tommy and Megan Ford and Adam and Madison Hurtado.

Friends can pay their respects on Sunday, Dec. 9th from 12:00 noon until 5:30 P.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday at St. Benedict’s Church. The Mass will be on Monday morning at 10:00 A.M. at St. Benedict’s Church. Friends can gather at the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 A.M. for a procession to the church. Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery.
