She married her husband, John Boehme, in Duluth, Minn. in 1953
and they moved to Gilroy over 40 years ago. She and her husband
owned and operated A

amp;J Machine Shop in Morgan Hill for nearly 30 years.
Amy L. Boehme died on May 15 at Santa Theresa Hospital in San Jose. She was born in Superior, Wis. and was 74 years old.

She married her husband, John Boehme, in Duluth, Minn. in 1953 and they moved to Gilroy over 40 years ago. She and her husband owned and operated A&J Machine Shop in Morgan Hill for nearly 30 years.

She is survived by her husband, John Boehme of Gilroy; her children, Frank Briar of Virginia, Amy Crouse of Gilroy, Maryann Penyacsek of Gilroy and Timothy John Boehme of Neward; her siblings, Henry Burgraff of Iowa, Calvin Burgraff of Wisconsin and Doris Correlle of Superior, Wisc; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Penyacsek, Jeannette Penyacsek, Michael Penyacsek, Matthew Penyacsek and Mark Penyacsek; and her great-grandchildren, Ava Caudillo, Athena Reyna and R.J. Mooney.

Interment services will be held at 3pm on Thursday, May 19 at Calvary Cemetery in Hollister.

Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home in Hollister is in charge of the arrangements.
