Angel V. Munoz died Thursday, June 18, at Hazel Hawkins Hospital. He was 65.

A native of Zacatecas, Mexico, he lived in San Benito County for 43 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart/Saint Benedict Church and vice president of Club Social Zacatecano in Hollister.

Munoz worked at San Benito Foods for 43 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 890.

He is survived by his wife, Leticia Munoz of Hollister; daughter Leonor Rojas of Hollister; sons, Hector, Edgar and Ernesto Munoz, all of Hollister; sisters, Lucy Guiza and Graciela Herrera of Hollister, Ester Munoz of Mexico, Honorita Garcia of San Francisco; brothers, Jose Munoz, of Mexico, Manuel Munoz of Visalia, Calif.; He was preceded in death by his sister Avelino Castillo.

Munoz was also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandsons and granddaughters.

A rosary will be held today at 7 p.m. at the Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. A Mass will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Friends can go to the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. and then go to the church.

Interment and graveside services will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery. Friends can pay their respects today until 9 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
