Angie B. Solorio Flores was born in Hollister and died May 28, 2004 at her Hollister home. 

She attended Sacred Heart School, San Benito High School and Gavilan College. She was very active at Sacred Heart Church and St. Benedict’s Church and was a catechist for many years. She was also blessed to have belonged to her Group Reunion of Cursillo Movement for 28 years. She loved being with family enjoying the many get-togethers in her home. She liked working in her garden, spending time in her gazebo, music especially mariachi music. She worked for the Hollister School District with teacher, Reb Monaco for all of her 27 years. She and her husband enjoyued travelling to many countries. Some of the highlights of their travels were Rome, Italy, Big Ben in London, England and visits  to her father’s birthplace in Ticuitaco, Michoacan, Mexico. She and her husband, Serapio, have been married for 45 years.

She is survived by her husband, Serapio Flores of Hollister; her children and their spouses, Diana Marie Flores of San Juan Bautista, Patricia Flores-Rowe and Derek Rowe of Hollister, Monica Flores-Okerson and Allan Okerson of Hollister, Chuck and Marie Flores of Hollister; her sister, Mary Solorio of Hollister and her brother, Vincent Solorio and his wife, Margie of Hollister; her grandchildren, Felicia and Adam Prieto and Lauren Rowe, T.J. Moran, Ryan and Tanner Rowe, Megan and Dana Flores; great grandson Elijah David. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Lupe B. Solorio and her maternal grandparents, Jess and Frances Bravo

She is also survived by relatives on both Solorio and Bravo families and her in-law Flores family.

Friends can pay their respects on Tuesday, June 1, 2004 from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.

The Rosary and vigil will be at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church. The Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at Sacred Heart Church.  Friends can gather at the funeral home at 9:30 for a procession to the church.

Interment will follow the Mass at the IOOF Cemetery where vault interment will take place following committal services in the family plot.

Donations are preferred to St. Benedict’s Church Building Fund c/o Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.
