Passed away in Hollister at the age of 97. She was born in Sterling, CO and lived in Hollister since 1997 moving from Durango, CO to be close to her son and his family. She was a member of St. Columba’s Catholic Church in Durango, Catholic Daughters, The Garden Club, active ith the Reading Club and was active in the Elks Club in Durango with her husband and a member of The Emblem Club in the Elks.
She is survived by her son and his wife, Ken and Charlotte Dilley of Hollister, her grandchildren, Jacqueline Dilley and Ernest Dilley both of San Jose and was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Dilley who died in 1986 and her siblings, Sylvia Trout, Virginia Field, Clarence Giacomini, Alfred Giacomini and Tom Giacomini.
She will have a Rosary on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Mass and interment will be in Durango, CO on July 17th, 2009 at St. Columba’s Catholic Church and Greenmount Cemetery.
Donations are preferred to The American Heart Association.
