Annabelle “Anne” Ohe passed away Thursday afternoon at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital at the age of 90. Born in Iowa, having lived in San Bruno for several years, she came to Hollister in 1979. She had been and executive for AT&T Telephone Co. for 30 years before her retirement. Anne was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and their Alter Society along with the Y.L.I.
Anne was predeceased by her husband John Ohe who passed away in 1980, a son Thomas Ohe who passed away in 1995 and a grandson, Philip Ohe who passedaway in February of 2007. Anne is survived by her son John Ohe, wife, Martha of Bakersfield, granddaughter, Marianne Gartenlaub and great grandchildren, Ayden and Adison Gartenlaub. She also is survived by a sister, Georgia Rochford of San Bruno and several nieces and nephews.
A rosary service will be offered Thursday afternoon at 5:30 P.M. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Tres Pinos and a funeral Mass will be offered Friday morning at 10:30 A.M. at the church with a reception to follow at the church hall.
Arrangements for cremation have been made through Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory with future Inurnment to be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Monticello, Iowa.
Contributions are preferred to the Camp Courageous in Monticello in care of the funeral home.
