Annie T. Leon died Oct. 11 at Hazel Hawkins Hospital. She was
born in Hollister and was 73 years old.
She lived in Hollister all of her life and was a member of
Sacred Heart Church and Teamsters’ Local 890. She worked for many
years for the cannery and liked to play Bingo in Hollister and
other places.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Leon and is survived by her children and their spouses, Eddie Leon of Hollister, Sal and Marion Leon of Hollister, David Leon of Hollister, Teddy Leon of Hollister, Lorraine Leon of Fresno, Lawrence Leon Jr of Hollister, Jennie and Phil Picardel of Hollister, Diane Rios and Sal Olguin of Hollister, Bobby and Sherry Perez of Hollister, Gerald and Debbie Leon of Hollister and Darrell Leon of Hollister; her brothers and sisters, Carmen Orabuena of Hollister, Helen Garcia of Madera, Frank Orabuena Jr of Hollister, Shirley Rodriguez of San Jose, John Orabuena of Tracy and Billy Goddard of Santa Cruz.
She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Friends can pay their respects on Thursday, Oct. 14 from noon until 9pm at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.
The Rosary will be Thursday evening at the funeral home at 7pm.
The Mass will be on Friday, Oct. 15, 2004 at 2pm at Sacred Heart Church. Friends can gather at the funeral home at 1:30pm for a procession to the church. Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery. Donations may be made to a memorial fund in memory of Mrs. Leon, care of Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home
