Anthony Eugene Goularte July 31, 1922 - September 10, 2013

A memorial service will be held at Johnson’s Funeral Home in Morgan Hill on Thursday, September 19, 2013, at 6:30 P.M. A celebration of Anthony’s life will be held for friends and family at his son Anthony’s home on Sunday, October 13, 2013, from 2:00 – 5:00 P.M. Contributions to your favorite charity, or to Hospice of the Valley, are preferred in lieu of flowers.
 Anthony E. Goularte, co-founder of Associated Concrete Company in Morgan Hill, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, after a short illness.
 A master mechanic, he and his brother, known as the Goularte Brothers, built race cars that won national, state, and track championships. Those accomplishments earned them a spot in the San Jose Speedway Hall of Fame. He was well-known by family and friends as someone who could build, repair, or modify anything. He was an Army veteran who specialized in aircraft repair during World War II.
 He is survived by children Renee Goularte, Anthony V. Goularte (Jane), Jan Goularte Sanders (Mike), and Harry E. Goularte; sisters Mary Hartman and Rosemay Kenner; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; a large extended family and many close friends. Anthony was preceded in death by Eva, his wife of 63 years; his sister Balbina; and his brother Harry.
