 Tony Bettencourt passed away unexpectedly amongst his wife and kids at the age of 70, on January 29, 2015.
 Tony is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rosie Bettencourt, two children, Carol Williams (Rodney), Christine Drysdale (Brent); four grandchildren, Rebecca Williams, Rodney Williams Jr., Christopher Drysdale, and Anthony Drysdale; siblings, Barbara Borrelli (Ralph), Rosie Hess (Bob), Kathy Camino (Mike), Louie Bettencourt (Keithly), David Bettencourt (Renee), Apple Fierro (Paul), Tina Enz (Bob).
 Tony was born on May 24, 1944, in Palo Alto, to Anthony Bettencourt and Margaret Ruano.
 He graduated from Gilroy High in 1963. He married his high school sweetheart in 1964. He began working as a mechanic in his early 20’s and owned Bettencourt’s Auto & Truck Repair for over 40 years.
 His children remember him as a loving, hard-working father who encouraged them to work hard and pursue their goals.
 Tony was an avid sportsman, who loved hunting, fishing, and camping with his family and friends.
 His grandchildren were his pride and joy and they understood his strong love for them.
 He was a member of the Elks, loved hanging out with his donut house buddies and recently volunteered to feed the homeless on Sundays.
