Antonio “Tony” Franco beloved husband of the late Ruth Franco passed away suddenly in Clovis, CA on Jan. 6th, 2012, at the age of 92 years. Tony was a native of San Martin, CA , a former long time Hollister resident when he operated his cattle ranch and worked for Almaden Vineyards.

He has lived in Clovis with his grandson Jerry D Franco Jr. the last eight years. He was very active with the Bolado Park Rodeo every year as well as FFA & 4H, and at Cienega School helping out the students. A Veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific Theater with the U.S. Army. Surviving Tony are his sons Jerry Franco Sr. (Jacque) and Dennis Franco; grandsons Jeffrey Franco Jr (Anabel), Steve Franco (Karen), and D. J. Franco; granddaughter Haley; great grandchildren Krissi Felice (Frank), Jessica Franco, Jeffrey Franco, Jonathan Franco, Jose Torres, Vanessa Almaguer, Dustin Franco, Lauren Franco, Lindsey Franco, Dominic Feli! ce, Anthony Felice; his brothers John Franco (Audrey) and Salvadore Franco (Stephi); nephew Mark Franco (Deborah); and numerous other nephews, nieces, cousins, and foster children.

Friends are invited to a Memorial Service, Monday Jan. 16th, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grunnagle Funeral Home Chapel follow by interment with military honors at Calvary Cemetery.
