An AT&T truck driver died Friday night along Highway 25 south of Bolado Park after his vehicle rolled over and he was ejected, a local fire engineer confirmed today.

The accident occurred around 7 p.m. – when a passerby reported it – three miles south of the San Benito County Fairgrounds. County firefighters performed CPR on the victim for about 30 minutes before pronouncing him dead on the scene, said Josh Silveira, a fire engineer.

He noted how the vehicle rolled over and landed back on its wheels, and how the victim was ejected. There do not appear to be any witnesses, while Silveira confirmed that a passerby called in the accident.

The fire engineer did not know the age or residence of the AT&T worker. The California Highway Patrol also responded to the accident, but could not be reached for additional details before publication.
