Salinas – The San Benito tennis team won 5-2 at North Salinas Monday.
No. 1 Danielle Burke won 6-0, 6-1, No. 2 Mary Von Urff won 6-2, 6-2, No. 3 Kaitlyn O’keefe won 6-0, 7-5, and No 4 Anna Von Boom lost 1-6, 0-6.
In doubles, No. 1 Megan Kirk and Alyssa Panacho won 6-3, 5-7 (10-4), No. 2 Christina Watson and Stacy Dain lost 2-6, 3-6 and No. 3 Michelle Rovella and Rebecca Williams won 4-6, 6-4 (11-9)
San Benito (9-6, 4-4 TCAL) had its match against Notre Dame Tuesday cancelled because of rain.
