The Balers reached the title game of the Independence Tournament with a 45-41 defeat of North County in Thursday night’s semi. Hollister (5-1) faces either Independence or Mt. Pleasant tonight at 8:30 p.m. for the tourney title.

This victory by the Balers was quite special for they were down 14 points in third quarter after the Condors left the locker room with a 6-0 run. The Balers answered with nine straight points to end the period, then outscored the Condors 18-10 in the fourth quarter.
