The San Benito High boys tennis team earned another crucial win last Thursday, defeating Carmel, 5-2.
The Haybalers remained undefeated in the Monterey Bay League’s Pacific Division, improving to a perfect 6-0. They swept the four singles matches, as Aaron Francis, Marquese Hayes, Christian Grenados and Chris Godbout all were victorious.
Francis and Grenados both won in a third-set super tiebreaker at Nos. 1 and 3 singles, respectively, while Hayes and Godbout both won by scores of 6-2, 6-2 at Nos. 2 and 4 singles, respectively.
