On September 25,2010, Barbara passed away after a short battle with cancer. Gilroy was where she helped establish and run the family business, Kay’s Pool Center.
She is survived by daughther Kirsten Caravalho, son Jeff Hopkins, son-in-law Angelo Caravalho, brother Bill Tomlin, companion Terry Caldwater, and grandchildren Justine Ramirez and Aiden Caravalho.
She will always be remembered for her compassion and positive influence. Services will be held on October 2, 2010, at 12:00 P.M. at Johnson’s Funeral Home in Morgan Hill. Following the services, the Caravalho family will be hosting a celebration of Barbara’s life at their home.
