Barbara Jane Hasenpflug died July 7 in Hollister. She was
80.
Barbara, the youngest of four daughters, was born to Frank and
Julia Wilson on February 12, 1925 in Niobrara, Nebraska.

Barbara, the youngest of four daughters, was born to Frank and Julia Wilson on February 12, 1925 in Niobrara, Nebraska.

Barbara, along with her late husband Norman L. Hasenpflug Sr. and their children, moved to California in 1963 where Barbara worked and retired after 32 years with the Richmond Country Club. She had resided in Hollister for the past 10 years. She loved spending time with all her children, Precious, the family dog, and when her Harley Boys came to Hollister every Fourth of July.

Grandma Bobbi, as Barbara became known to all whose lives she touched, was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Florence Lowell, Edith Skillet and Frances Stewart, and a son, Bobby Gene Hasenpflug.

Grandma Bobbi is survived by her daughters Jayne Darnielle and husband Tim of Walnut Creek, Penny Hernandez and husband Joe Junior of Vacaville; son Norman L. Hasenpflug Jr. and wife Danielle of Hollister; grandchildren Sara Morales, Zachary and Jessica Darnielle, Daniel Melgoza, Joe Hernandez III, Gilbert and Sandi Hernandez, Andrea Fogleman, Stormi, Richard and Ashlee Hasenpflug and Taylor Melgoza; great-grandchildren Victoria and Quienten Morales and Dillyn Melgoza, Jaylen and Kailea Fogleman; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral services will be Friday, July 15 at the Brockhaus Funeral Chapel in Niobrara, Nebraska followed by burial in the L’Eau Qui Court Cemetery in Niobrara. Local funeral arrangements in Hollister are under the direction of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home.
