Hollister resident Barbara Jean Countryman died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003. She was 71.
Mrs. Countryman was born in Ottawa, Kan. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and the outdoors and was an avid sports fan.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Don L. Countryman; her children, Steven and Karen Countryman; two grandchildren and many other relatives.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Seven Trees Baptist Church, 3195 Senter Road in San Jose. Inurnment will be at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose.
Arrangements are under the direction of Oak Hill Funeral Home in San Jose.
