The San Benito baseball team lost its second-straight game Wednesday to close the Valley Christian Crown Classic in Hollister.

The Balers fell to Concord’s Clayton Valley 11-3, as two Baler errors led to all 11 runs.

“That’s the biggest thing — our errors,” manager Billy Aviles said.

San Benito never led in the game, scoring two runs in the fourth inning and one in the seventh.

Clayton Valley jumped on the Balers with a six-run third inning, scoring after a San Benito two-out error.

Despite the two-straight losses, the Balers can clinch their seventh-straight Tri-County Athletic League title at 4 p.m. Thursday at Alisal.
