was 64 years old.

She is survived by her mother Manuela Montalvo of Gilroy; her children Cindy Morales of San Jose, Anthony Garcia of Gilroy, Lupe Rivera of San Antonio, Texas and Irma Fragoso of Harlingen, Texas; grandchildren Sal, Monica, Robert and Rebecca Morales all of San Jose, Ernest and Michael Rivera of San Antonio, Richard and Juan Fragoso Jr. of Harlingen, Eloisa Garcia of Santa Rosa, Ernest Garcia, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas and Nicolas Garcia of San Jose; and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Sophia and her husband, Pete Ramirez, of Gilroy, Olga Hernandez of Hollister, Maria and her husband, Miguel Cervantes, of Gilroy and her brother Frank and his wife, Terri Montalvo, of Del Rio, Texas. She is the niece of Maria Heredia of Willing, Ill., Francisca Ramirez of Willing, and Jenny Hernandez of Morgan Hill; and sister-in-law of Pauline Garica of Gilroy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Garcia; her father Frank Montalvo; her son Ernest Garcia, jr; and her sister Rose Tomesetti.

Belia was born in Michigan and moved to Gilroy in 1953. She was employed for over 17 years at the Gilroy Cannery. Belia enjoyed dancing and playing bingo.

Vigil Services will be held on Thursday at 7pm at Habing Family Funeral Home. Funeral services are Friday at 9:30am at the funeral home then proceeding to St. Mary Church for a Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
