Bertha Hawley (Doan) Hawthorne passed away Friday, Jan. 21 at
the age of 82.
Bertha Hawley (Doan) Hawthorne passed away Friday, Jan. 21 at the age of 82.
She is the loving mother of Todd A. Hawthorne and Julie (Hawthorne) Wise; grandmother of Justin G. Hawthorne, Jessica Hawley Greenwell, Eric P. Wise, Nicholas C. Wise, and E. Katie Hawthorne; great-grandmother of five; and devoted sister of Harold W. Doan, Robert M. Doan (deceased), and Thomas Doan. She is also survived by a host of other loving Christian friends and relatives.
A Memorial service was held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, on Clough Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio, Jan. 28, with a reception following.
