health.
Betty Ann Foster died Wednesday morning at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital at the age 75 after a long period of failing health.

She was born in Hollister on June 8, 1929 and has lived here all her life. Along with her hobbies of sewing, quilting, gardening and working puzzles, she enjoyed her grandchildren. Betty had worked nearly 20 years as a lunch clerk for the Sunnyslope School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin “Barney” Foster, who died in 1999; four brothers and six sisters.

Betty is survived by her children, Terry Starks and husband Rick, of Michigan, Dennis Foster of Michigan, Marc Foster of Tracy, Beverly Foster, Jennifer Underwood, husband Bill, and Michelle Serrano and husband Gus, all of Hollister; her siblings Tom Hannah of Hollister, Ted Hannah of Oklahoma, Ollie Hagan of Watsonville and Donna Reynosa of Hollister. She also is survived by 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, April 11th, at 11am in the chapel of Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home. Graveside services and burial will follow at the San Juan District Cemetery. Friends may also visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
