Billie Jean Perkins
May 22, 1928 – December 19, 2008
Billie Perkins passed away Friday evening at the Kindred Hospital in Folsom, CA. Billie was born on May 22, 1928, in Texas and was 80 years old.
Billie was one of four children; John Perkins, Rosie and Audrey Garrett. She was mother to four children; Cynthia (Tapia) Silva (Anthony), Gregory Tapia (Kathy), Lona (Silva) Hougland (Mike) and Frances Silva. Billie has nine Grandchildren; Brian & Kevin Silva, Michael, Stacy & Heidi Tapia, Travis Hougland, Amanda & Joseph Martinez, Jacob Matthews and great-grandmother to 13.
Billie was a talented and artistic woman that enjoyed music, painting and poetry. She played the violin, guitar and piano and loved singing with her children and at her church. She has left behind many wonderful memories of love for her family.
Our Mom was a courage woman that loved us unconditionally. We were extremely fortunate to have her as our Mother.
