Binit A. Patel died in San Jose at the age of 37. He was born in Nairobi, Kenya, Africa, and was a past resident of Hollister. He moved to Los Banos 2 years ago. He originally came to Hollister from Castroville in 1988 and was a graduate of North County High School in Monterey and attended Monterey Peninsula College. His passion was racing his motorcycle and his music. He was a DJ and known as “DJ Beatnuts”. He also like photography and worked for VMWare in San Jose in the computer business. He served his country honorably in the Air Force from 1992 to 1996.

He is survived by his parents, Arun and Indira Patel of Los Banos and his brother and his wife, Paresh and Staci Patel of Rocklin and his nephews, Jayden and Colbey Patel of Rocklin and is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Military rites will be performed by VFW Post 9242 of Hollister. Cremation will follow the services with private family inurnment.

Donations are preferred to The Binit Patel Memorial Fund, c/o the funeral home.
