It looks like we'll have to wait until Wednesday morning to see final local election results from the San Benito County...
Local, state and federal police and fire officials are investigating more than a dozen overnight incidents of vandalism and suspicious fires that resulted in damages to at least 10 downtown Hollister businesses—two of which were a total loss—and numerous vehicles.
The developer of the 2,777-acre Strada Verde Specific Plan commercial development proposal has earmarked nearly $900,000 to promote a “Yes” vote on the Nov. 3 ballot measure that would allow the project to move forward.
