 Bob Toshimi Hirahara passed away peacefully on Monday April 21, 2014, at Good Samaritan Hospital with his family at his side.
 He is survived by his daughter, Lisa, of Gilroy, and son, Robert and his wife, Diana, of San Jose.
 Bob was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Lainne Setsuko Hirahara, parents, Kichizo and Yukiyo Hirahara, sisters, Fumi (Yasuo) Oda, Alice (Carl) Sakoda, Betty (Ben) Hatanaka, brother Mitsuo Hirahara, and nephew Milton Oda. He is survived by many devoted nieces and nephews and great-nephews and great-nieces.
 Bob was never one of many words, but he was admired for his vast knowledge and inventiveness. His deep devotion to family will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
