Bruce and Judy Henry

Judy and I met on June 13, 1966 on her first day at college. Her parents had just dropped her off (she was a freshman and I was a junior) and she was walking with her new roommate through the student union, where I also worked as a short order cook. We just looked at each other as she passed by, but I can still remember what she wore.
Later that night she told her roommate she was “going to marry that guy” (I must have looked good in an apron), and two years later, only three days after I graduated from USAF Office Training School, we did.
Our honeymoon was spent in pilot training where George W. Bush was a classmate and friend, and the rest – as they say – is history. Three children, three grandchildren (so far) and more than 45 years later, we’re still going strong.
We’ve lived in Morgan Hill for more than 33 years and are both Realtors at Coldwell Banker.
