Redbeard names Managing Art Director
Redbeard Communications, a brand strategy and creative design firm specializing in the financial industry, announced the addition of Scott Ballard as Managing Art Director earlier this month. With nearly a decade of experience in graphic design and art direction, Ballard will lead Redbeard’s design team in all marketing, advertising and design projects.
Ballard’s expertise includes working with print media, plus Web site and broadcast design. He has experience working with national brands like Clorox, Hidden Valley Ranch and Glad. He was awarded the Macromedia Site of the Day Award and was recently interviewed by How Magazine in recognition of his art direction in Schwing! Golf Magazine.
Ballard received an associate’s degree in applied arts in industrial design from The Art Institute of Seattle. Additionally, he attended The School of Visual Concepts in Seattle and Dale Carnegie Training in Oakland. He currently resides in Concord with his wife and two children.
