Neighborhood Pizza wants to add some love to your eating life on Valentine’s Day.
The local business shop on Tres Pinos Road is doing so by giving out at least 50 free heart-shaped pizzas on Sunday to customers who have the coupon it sent out in a mail insert Feb. 6. Manager and Co-owner Ash Beiklou, who was involved in taking over the business about a month and a half ago, noted how Neighborhood also might extend the offer to up to 100 people depending on how the day goes.
The heart-shaped pizzas will be 10 to 12 inches – depending on where you’re measuring the odd-shaped pie. They will come with cheese, but customers will have the option of adding toppings, likely for $1 each, he said.
“It was just a good way to give back to the community,” he said.
He also said the business has plans to revise the menu with some more “upscale” options, along with selling pizza by the slice at some point.
