Carlos Barajas passed away at his residence surrounded by his family at the age of 64 years.

A native of Zinapecuaro, Michoacan, Mexico, Carlos resided in Hollister for the last 30 years where he worked diligently in agriculture industry.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish and the Teamsters Union. Carlos enjoyed the out-of-doors, fishing, and spending time with his family. “He loved Hollister, it wasn’t necessary for him to travel, he found happiness working, living and being with his family here”, said his family.

Surviving is his wife Teresa; daughters Norma, Jacqueline, Gabriela, and Daisy Barajas and his son David Barajas; granddaughters Cindy and Davina Barajas.

Visitation will be held at the Grunnagle Funeral Home Wednesday, August 10th, 2011, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. with the recitation of the rosary at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 11th at 3:00 P.M. also at the mortuary followed by private cremation.
