Carol Harter-Longoria passed away at her home Dec. 1, after a
long struggle with cancer, she was 51 years old.

She is survived by her children Joffre Longoria, Jessica Longoria and Jeana Longoria all of Gilroy. She is the daughter of Lorene Harter of Roseville, sister of Dennis Harter of Oakville and Donna Evans of Hollister. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Carol was a project manager for Wells Fargo Bank in San Jose and a former bank manager for the Gilroy Branch. She has been a Gilroy resident for the past 22 years. Ms. Harter-Longoria was a member of the Gilroy Kiwanis, Gilroy Chamber of Commerce, was a team leader for the Relay for Life, and was very active in all her children’s activities. Carol was also a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Funeral Services will begin at 10am on Monday, Dec., 6 in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1735 Hecker Pass Highway, Gilroy.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 5, 2004 from 2 to 6pm at the Habing Family Funeral Home.

Donations to the American Cancer Society or the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in her memory are preferred and appreciated.
