Carol entered into rest Thursday July 12, 2007. Born August 10, 1963 in Mountain View, CA, she resided most of her life in Sunnyvale, CA. She lived her life to the fullest, while courageously facing the many challenges of cystic fibrosis. As a double lung transplant recipient in 1997, she truly valued the additional time she was given. She loved going to concerts, traveling, bowling and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
A brave, strong, loving and tender soul, she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her father and mother, Willis and Carol Parrish, her three sisters; Tobi Parrish, Stacey Griffin, and Kelly Byrum, three nieces; Jacquelyne Parrish, Keyarlei Griffin, Kelcey Byrum and nephew Caleb Byrum, the two loves of her life; Michael Kelly and Faith (her pug) and her best friend, Cheri Farrell.
A memorial service will be held at Lima Family Mortuary in Sunnyvale, CA on July 19, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. Arrangements have been made for a private cremation with a private family inurnment. The family asks that any donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Rd., Suite 200, Betheseda, MD 20814, in her honor.
