Carolyn A. Sandstrom died of cancer on June 5 at William and
Inez Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility. She was 72 years old.
Ms. Sandstrom was born on December 20, 1932 in Spokane, Wash.
She lived in Washington until moving to Los Altos in 1956 and
finally settling in Hollister in 1987.

She is survived by her brother Paul Sandstrom and his wife Bonnie of Hollister; niece Karen Thompson and husband Larry of San Jose; nephew David Sandstrom and his wife Susan; and grandnieces Carolyn and Jennifer of San Jose.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Sandstrom in 2003.
Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements and cremation. Inurnment will be held at Alta Mesa Cemetery in Palo Alto.
