Carolyn Leyba was the beloved wife of Bernie Leyba and resided in Morgan Hill most of her life. Carolyn is the loving mother of Julie Bernice Booth and her son in law Jeffrey Dean Booth. She was the grandmother of Daniel Elliott, Stephanie Elliott and Heather Elliott and the great grandmother of Jade Elise Elliott and Hailie Johnson. Carolyn was a teacher at Leigh High School for many years. She brought happiness with her where ever she went. Even down her long and sometimes dark road bearing the illness of Alzheimer’s disease, she still found within herself to be happy and never to complain. She leaves behind many dear memories and some beautiful art work that was a passion of hers. She will be missed every day of our lives.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday January 11, at The Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy.
