Services held
Services have been held for former San Juan Bautista resident Cayetano DeAnda, who died Feb. 11 in Madera at the age of 84.
The Rosary was recited Friday evening at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Sister Maria del Rey of Mission San Juan Bautista officiated. Mass was offered Saturday morning at Mission San Juan Bautista. The Rev. Ed Fitz-Henry was the celebrant with music by Lupe Castaneda.
Interment and graveside services followed at San Juan District Cemetery. Pallbearers were Salvador Cortez Jr., Efren DeAnda Jr., Fabian DeAnda, Joseph DeAnda, Felix Garcia, Johnny DeAnda Jr., Roy Ramos Jr., Trinidad DeAnda, Efren DeAnda Sr., Cayetano DeAnda Jr., Jesse DeAnda, Johnny DeAnda Sr. Tony DeAnda, Robert Lechuga and Mark Rubio.
