Former Hollister resident Cecilia Eva Gracia died Wednesday, May 21, 2003 in Gilroy after a lengthy illness. She was 55.
A native of Oxnard, Mrs. Gracia moved to Hollister as a child. She attended local schools and graduated from San Benito High School. She worked for Safeway in Morgan Hill as a clerk, played softball in the Gilroy City League and also enjoyed taking trips to Lake Tahoe.
She is survived by her husband, Jess Mejia of Gilroy; her sons, Henry Gracia of San Jose and Jay Mejia of Santa Cruz; her daughter, Gabriella Mejia of Gilroy; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 30 at 7 p.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy.
