Celeste P. Zamzow, 81, passed away at home Monday evening, September 17, 2007.
She was the wife of the late Martell L. Zamzow,
daughter of the late Mariano & Elisa Valbusa, mother
of Mark Zamzow, (Patty), Shirley Gorman, (Greg) and David Zamzow, (Lorri), grandmother of Nash, (Jen) Zamzow, Jordan Zamzow, Sadie Gorman, Grant Gorman and Nathan Zamzow, sister of: Inez Fiorio, (Mario) and Lino Valbusa, (Irene) and the late Esther & Joe Perucca. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was a native of Yuba City, CA.
Celeste was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Eucharistic Minister, Minister to the Sick and the Italian Catholic Federation. She was also a member of Gilroy Assistance League, Ridgemark Ladies Golf Group, Eagle Ridge Ladies Golf, Gilroy Golf Course,
a volunteer at Gilroy Garlic Festival, Relay for Life
Gilroy Coffee Roasting Club, Garlic Ladies Investment Group, Bridge Club, Renew and the Wednesday Westside Grill Tennis group. She was also past-President of Bellarmine Mother’s Guild
The vigil will be Thursday, September 20, 2007 – 7:00 P.M.p.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home with Visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Friday, September 21, 2007 – 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Gilroy.
