Hollister resident
Charles Pinatelli died Saturday, April 12, 2003 at the William and Inez Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility in Hollister. He was 77.

Mr. Pinatelli was born in Los Angeles and had lived in Hollister for six years. He was a general contractor and self-employed owner of a heating and air conditioning business in Southern California. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy, and was a former member of the BPOE of Santa Monica.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine Pinatelli of Hollister; his daughter, Kathy Pinatelli of Hollister; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Michael Pinatelli, who was killed in the Vietnam War.

Arrangements for cremation have been made through Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Crematory. Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery in Southern California.

Memorials are preferred to the Emmaus House, in care of the funeral home.
