I will have to agree with a letter to the editor of last week;
the Citizens Voice is a VERY bad idea.
When the feature first started, I felt some unease about it.
Since then, I have come to feel that they are bad in that they
allow writers to trash others in the community anonymously.

I think if you are going to publicly criticize anyone, you ought to have the guts to put your name to the letter. This would allow the readers to judge whether the writer has an axe to grind or has a conflict of interest in any way.
The unfairness of the unsigned letter is so obvious that it’s a mystery to me you even consider it.
I’ve always thought the Free Lance presented the news in a fair and balanced manner, but the Citizens Voice allows others to do what the Free Lance would not do.
Be FAIR, drop this feature.
